I did my speech last week and i was pretty nervous. My speech was about dogs i wanted to do cats but i did a speech about them last year when i was a year five. I think i read my speech fast because i was nervous but thats all about my speech! <(^w^)>
Today we did something very interesting! Today my class went to another classroom where they had vr headsets!! it was pretty cool because on the headsets they showed us marines and stuff in New Zealand! and they showed us unhealthy marines and healthy marines. It was pretty cool and i liked seeing the fish swim around me! It was also cool how you could look around!!!
Kia ora! This week has been math week and we have been doing quite a bit!
Yesterday on the 15 of August it was market day but i wasn’t there because i was sick. I was gonna be on the lemonade stand for my class and i was gonna help pour the lemonade for people. My class did lemonade, marshmallows dipped in chocolate, and a basketball game! the other classes had there own stands and stuff they were selling too and i’m a bit disappointed i missed it.
We have also been doing these daily math quizzes and they aren’t that fun because its math and i hate math. But overall this week has been very eventful!! 😀
Hello there, Ned came to our school today and some other guy but i don’t know his name. The dude told us a story about like what the letters in Ned’s name mean’t or something, and he also showed us some tricks with yo yo’s and stuff. I thought the tricks were kinda cool? Also we got told that Ned has gone to schools in all the states of america and went to other countries like Canada and that now he has come to New Zealand. Which i think is quiet interesting, after that the guy told us about some of the yo yo’s there selling and other stuff.

Today Mr Pedro Wylaars came to visit us. He came to tell us information about the company Zealandia. He talked about how he was impressed by our school veggie garden and he also answered questions we asked him. He also told us that he started working at Zealandia when he was 13, and that when he was 19 the company asked if he wanted to own the company. He also told us that his favorite thing is seeing healthy plants go onto the truck and be sent off to people. I think its interesting and i like learning about plants. He also told us about how plants produce oxegyn, He answered many more questions and it was very intresting.
